Softball Recap: Wapello Comes Up Short

Wapello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons, falling 7-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered against the Falcons since June 6, 2019.

Wapello's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Louisa-Muscatine, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.

Wapello has already played their next matchup, a 4-1 victory against Pekin on the 6th. As for Louisa-Muscatine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 26-0 win against WACO on the 6th.
