After a string of four wins, Kenai Central's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 54-28 to the Grace Christian Grizzlies. While losing is never fun, the Kardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Grizzlies are ranked sixth).

Kenai Central's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Grace Christian, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.

Kenai Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grace Christian, they will take on Lathrop at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Grace Christian's defense has only allowed 29.6 points per game this season, so Lathrop's offense will have their work cut out for them.
