Softball Recap: St. Martin's Episcopal Wins Going Away Against Mcgehee

St. Martin's Episcopal made up a huge gap compared to their last game against McGehee, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Saints blew past the Hawks 14-7 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won four games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Liv Dunn, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three). Sophie Miller was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

St. Martin's Episcopal's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for McGehee, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-4.
