Fairfield had won six straight games and Kohl Collins did his part to make it seven on Friday. The Eagles breezed past the Huntington Red Devils to the tune of 52-0 thanks in part to Collins, who threw for 256 yards and five touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 39 yards. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Fairfield, racking up 16 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Finn Smith, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.

Fairfield's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Huntington, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Fairfield will challenge Diboll at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Lumberjacks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.43 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Huntington, they will face off against Crockett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
