Volleyball Recap: Kensley Evans Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Spring Creek + How To Watch

Princeton's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spring Creek Gators. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Princeton took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-12, 25-12.

Princeton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kensley Evans, who had six kills, three aces, and one block. Evans is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 11 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Waller, who had four aces and one block.

They weren't the only good servers: Princeton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. They are 8-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Princeton's record is now 9-7. As for Spring Creek, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-17.

Princeton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against C.B. Aycock on the 29th. As for Spring Creek, they will be playing at home against Wallace-Rose Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
