Football Game Preview: Valhalla Vikings vs. Bronxville Broncos

The Valhalla Vikings will face off against the Bronxville Broncos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Valhalla took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 25-13 win over Byram Hills.

Meanwhile, Bronxville put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Tuckahoe 48-21. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 47th, while the Tigers are ranked 159th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Brian Formato and Declan Connolly. Formato had a great game and gained 301 total yards and four touchdowns. Meanwhile, Connolly was balling out in the loss, rushing for 103 yards and three touchdowns, while also picking up 31 receiving yards.

Bronxville's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Valhalla, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Things could have been worse for Valhalla, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 35-18 loss to Bronxville when the teams last played back in October of 2023.
