Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greenwood). They took down the Woodmont Wildcats 78-64 on Friday. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 65-61 win the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Jeremiah Brooks was his usual excellent self, going 8 of 14 en route to 26 points. Damarion Roman was another key player, going 5 for 8 on his way to 14 points and six rebounds.

Greenwood's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Woodmont, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Greenwood will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against J.L. Mann at 7:30 p.m. Greenwood is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.4 points per game this season. As for Woodmont, they will square off against Wren at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Wren knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 18 matchups -- so hopefully Woodmont likes a good challenge.
