Softball Recap: Lewis Cass Comes Up Short

Lewis Cass was the 10-2 winner over Twin Lakes when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Kings fell 10-5 to the Indians on Saturday. The Kings just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Ava Hubner was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. Kylie Logan was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Lewis Cass' defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Twin Lakes, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-8.

Coming up, Lewis Cass will challenge Northwestern at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Twin Lakes, they will face off against Rensselaer Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bombers have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
