Football Recap: First Baptist Christian Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Midstate Homeschool

First Baptist Christian faced Midstate Homeschool in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Eagles fell 26-16 to the Storm. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Storm this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-12 back in August.

First Baptist Christian didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Luke Page and Steven Rowzee. First Baptist Christian got some further help from Benji Moore: he picked up a sack and made ten total tackles.

First Baptist Christian now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Midstate Homeschool, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.

As of now, neither First Baptist Christian nor the Storm have any future games scheduled.
