Baseball Game Preview: Liberty Lions vs. Central Regional Golden Eagles

For the second straight game, Liberty will face off against Central Regional. The Lions will face off against the Golden Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty, yet to win a game, are hoping to taste some of the success that has characterized Central Regional's (thus far) undefeated season.

Liberty managed to slip by Central Regional the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions came up short against the Golden Eagles on Wednesday, falling 16-7.

Central Regional's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Liberty, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
