Baseball Game Preview: Seneca Bobcats vs. Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers

For the second straight game, Seneca will face off against Blue Ridge. The Bobcats will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Fighting Tigers at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Seneca has four straight wins, Blue Ridge has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

If Seneca beats Blue Ridge with seven runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Bobcats walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Fighting Tigers on Tuesday.

For Blue Ridge's part, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Justin Gilpin, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Seneca's win bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Blue Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
