Softball Recap: Somerset's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Somerset had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Whitley County Colonels a 4-0 shutout on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 6-5 back in March.

The victory got Somerset back to even at 8-8. As for Whitley County, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-12.
