Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Blake Terry stepped things up a notch to give Statesville the 'W'. Terry rushed for 77 yards and one score on only seven carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2024.

Terry and Statesville will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Lake Norman at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The matchup will pit Terry up against the Wildcats' star running back Allen Jones.
