Volleyball Recap: Crosspointe Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Crosspointe Christian Academy entered their tilt with Indiana Christian Academy on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Whirlwinds 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Crosspointe Christian Academy took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-4, 25-15.

Crosspointe Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alexis Baskerville out in front who had six assists and four aces. Those four aces gave Baskerville a new career-high. Autumn DeArmon was another key player, getting four aces.

They weren't the only good server: Crosspointe Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in nine consecutive matchups.

Crosspointe Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 11-2-3. As for Indiana Christian Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.
