Baseball Recap: Ocean View Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ocean View Christian can now relate to. They came up short against the Borrego Springs Rams on Wednesday, falling 13-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost six in a row.

Ocean View Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cruz Pamintuan, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. Another was Tyler Cauley, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Ocean View Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Borrego Springs, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Ocean View Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Borrego Springs, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Vincent Memorial at 4:00 p.m. The Scots will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight.
