Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Timothy Christian). They enjoyed a cozy 61-43 win over the Leyden Eagles on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Elisabeth Van Den Berg produced another solid performance dropping a double-double with 17 points and 15 boards. She has been hot, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times she's played. Lyla Plaiser was another key player, going 6-for-13 on her way to 15 points and eight boards.

Timothy Christian's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Leyden, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Timothy Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Lisle at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Leyden, they will venture away from home to take on Proviso East at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
