Baseball Recap: Commerce Comes Up Short

Commerce managed to slip by Rabun County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Wildcats on Friday, falling 12-5.

Commerce saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Raettig, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Commerce's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Rabun County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Commerce will take on Providence Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rabun County, they will head out to challenge Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rabun County is facing Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at the right time seeing as Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
