Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hill City). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Rawlins County Buffaloes 81-54. With that win, the Ringnecks brought their scoring average up to 50.9 points per game.

Leading Hill City to victory were Carson Keith and Vincent Zohner. Keith went 11 for 22 on his way to 29 points and seven rebounds, while Zohner dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Hill City's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Rawlins County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Hill City and Rawlins County could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. Hill City will challenge Norton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday down 206 places (259 vs. 53). Similarly, Rawlins County (ranked 298th) will meet Weskan (ranked 130th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
