Basketball Recap: First Baptist Comes Up Short

The First Baptist Crusaders took a 26-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fourth Baptist Christian Warriors. The contest marked the Crusaders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, First Baptist still got an impressive performance from Jon Anaya, who posted seven points and three steals. Anaya has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times he's played.

First Baptist has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Fourth Baptist Christian, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
