Softball Recap: Fitzgerald Takes a Loss

If Fitzgerald was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Madison on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans came up short against the New Haven Rockets on Wednesday, falling 10-1. The Spartans have struggled against the Rockets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Fitzgerald's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for New Haven, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10.

Coming up, Fitzgerald will host Sterling Heights at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday. As for New Haven, they will take on Lamphere at 4:30 p.m. on the 28th.
