Recap: Tatnall Hornets vs. Indian River Indians
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Tatnall Hornets had no problem doing just that on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Indians as they made off with a 28-7 win. Tatnall is really starting to get used to good results now that the team's won 11 straight.
Rahshan Lamons continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 184 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also throwing for 54 yards and a touchdown on only five passes. Lamons' longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards.
Tatnall pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Indian River, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Tatnall will play host again and welcome Wilmington Charter, where kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Wilmington Charter: 10.6, Tatnall: 5.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Indian River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
