Maple Valley won the last time they faced Reading and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Maple Valley Lions snuck past the Reading Rangers with a 64-59 win.

When it comes to explaining why Reading lost, don't look at Brayden Wright. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. Wright's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Marco Bailey was another key player, going 5-for-12 en route to 14 points.

Maple Valley's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Reading, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-18.

Looking ahead, Maple Valley will head out on the road to face off against Bronson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Reading, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stockbridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Stockbridge has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
