Cleveland took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Farmington, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Storm narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Scorpions 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Storm have posted since April 23, 2024.

Cleveland's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10. As for Farmington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7-1 record this season.
