Soccer Recap: Mountain Ridge vs. Herriman
On Friday, Mountain Ridge's game was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Herriman Mustangs 2-1. Mountain Ridge's winning goal came courtesy of Anthony Campos.
The win got Mountain Ridge back to even at 2-2. As for Herriman, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Mountain Ridge will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Riverton at 3:30 p.m. on April 2nd. Mountain Ridge's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Herriman, they will be playing at home against Bingham at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Herriman will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 61st, while Bingham is ranked 15th).
