Baseball Preview: Teton Timberwolves vs. Challis Vikings

Luke Nelson put in work no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Challis was able to grind out a solid victory over Salmon on Saturday, taking the game 7-4.
Like Teton, Challis also got a great game from a two-way player: Brayden Ollar. He struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). That's the fewest hits Ollar has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 3-for-3.
In other pitching news, nobody will forget James Parker's heroic performance anytime soon (especially Salmon's batters): he turned in a perfect game.
Teton's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Challis, their win bumped their record up to 3-0-1.
