It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Walnut Grove can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wakeland Wolverines on Friday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Wolverines recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Walnut Grove started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-15.

Despite the loss, Walnut Grove still got an impressive performance from J'Leigh Larra, who had 11 digs.
