Soccer Recap: Lincoln Park Academy Comes Up Short

Lincoln Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Centennial Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 411th, while the Eagles are ranked 50th).

Lincoln Park Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Centennial, they pushed their record up to 8-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Lincoln Park Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Centennial, they will welcome Okeechobee at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Centennial is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.
