Softball Recap: Evart Falls Short Against Ranked Beal City

Evart faced Beal City in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wildcats fell 8-3 to the Aggies. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Evart fell to 8-1. As for Beal City, their record now sits at 13-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evart will square off against Lake City at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Beal City, they will head out on the road to challenge Zeeland West at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
