Baseball Recap: Noxubee County Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Noxubee County duked it out with Calhoun City on Thursday. Noxubee County lost 16-1 to Calhoun City. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 on March 1st.

Noxubee County's defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Calhoun City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Calhoun City beat Noxubee County by a score of 12-0 later that day.
