Volleyball Recap: Orrville Red Riders vs. St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Norwayne, Orrville was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish, sneaking past 3-2. For the Red Riders, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win the Fighting Irish walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2024.

Orrville wouldn't go down easily and took St. Vincent-St. Mary into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 26-24, 19-25, 22-25, 15-9.

Orrville was led to victory by Joscilyn Crenshaw and Hannah Croskey. Crenshaw had 16 digs and one assist, while Croskey had 11 digs, three blocks, and two aces.
