Soccer Recap: Morgan City Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Morgan City was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They fell 3-1 to the South Lafourche Tarpons. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tarpons earlier this season, when they won 4-1.

Morgan City's goal came courtesy of Giovanni Hernandez, who's now up to six this season.

Morgan City's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-2. As for South Lafourche, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Morgan City has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 win against South Terrebonne on the 21st. As for South Lafourche, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Covenant Christian Academy on the 21st.
