Volleyball Recap: South Sevier Comes Up Short

South Sevier lost against Parowan back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. South Sevier fell just short of Parowan by a score of 3-2. While South Sevier didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Parowan 25-16 in the first set.

South Sevier actually scored more points across those five sets (100-93), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-14, 12-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Kinsey Parsons paced South Sevier's offense, picking up 28 kills. Parsons got some help from Cooperlynne Green and her 43 assists. Parsons was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

This is the second loss in a row for South Sevier and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Parowan, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-5.

South Sevier has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Enterprise on the 18th. As for Parowan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Beaver on the 18th.
