Baseball Recap: Glenville Tarblooders vs. John Hay        
        
		
            
 After flying high against John Adams  last Tuesday, Glenville came back down to earth. The Glenville Tarblooders lost  17-3 to John Hay on Tuesday. Glenville has struggled against John Hay recently, as their  game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
 Glenville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Darrell Wheeler, who  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 1-for-2.
 On John Hay's side,  Sam Kozak was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out six batters over  five innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Kozak was even better at the plate,  scoring four  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Musa Mordan-Zaid was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  triple. He has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Asani Wells, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Glenville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for John Hay, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record  this season.
 Glenville will look to defend their home field  on Thursday against John Marshall at 5:00  p.m. As for John Hay, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Rhodes at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. John Hay has given up an average of 6.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
