Volleyball Recap: Christian Family Academy Comes Up Short

Christian Family Academy lost against Pinnacle Classical Academy last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fire lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Fire have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-17, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Lily Wellmon, who had nine kills and four aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 19 times she's played.

Christian Family Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Coming up, Christian Family Academy will take on Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Challenger on the 24th.
