Basketball Recap: Hmong Academy Takes a Loss

On Monday, Hmong Academy were beaten by the University School of Milwaukee Wildcats 101-15. While losing is never fun, Hmong Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 506th in Minnesota, while University School of Milwaukee is ranked 164th in Wisconsin).

Hmong Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-24. As for University School of Milwaukee, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: University School of Milwaukee beat Hmong Academy by a score of 101-15 on Tuesday.
