Volleyball Recap: Bryan Comes Up Short

Bryan extended their losing streak to nine on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-21. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Schuyler Warriors. The Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

As for Schuyler, their win bumped their record up to 4-15. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory they have posted against Bryan since September 30, 2017.

Lizbeth Hernandez was nothing short of spectacular: she had 18 digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Bryan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against South Sioux City on the 4th. As for Schuyler, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Mercy on the 4th.
