Basketball Recap: Meridian Comes Up Short

Meridian was the 67-65 winner over Nooksack Valley when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Meridian Trojans were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 54-53 to the Nooksack Valley Pioneers. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meridian's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4. As for Nooksack Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-5.

Meridian is taking a road trip to take on Oak Harbor at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nooksack Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Blaine at 7:15 p.m.
