 Cairo-Durham has been on the road for four straight, but  on Monday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Greenville Spartans at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. Cairo-Durham is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9  runs per game  this season.
 Cairo-Durham is headed into the  match fresh off scoring the most  runs they have all season. They blew past Germantown 28-1. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest  victory of the  season.
  Jake Young made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Young has been consistent recently: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Young was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Zach Russell was a standout: he got on base  in all six of his plate appearances with a  home run, five  runs,  and four  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Zak Wagor, who  scored six  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in five of his six plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Greenville is still looking for their season's first win. They fell just short of Taconic Hills by a score of  7-6 on Friday.
 The  win  got Cairo-Durham back to even at 4-4. As for Greenville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
