Football Recap: Mt. Enterprise's Rushing Dominance Continues

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Enterprise). They blew past the Lovelady Lions 82-60 on Friday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 22 points or more this season.

Kaegan Ash was his usual excellent self, rushing for 495 yards and seven scores while picking up 14.6 yards per carry. Those 495 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Aadin Alsup was in the mix as well, providing Mt. Enterprise with three touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Mt. Enterprise was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 651 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 201 rushing yards in 15 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Mt. Enterprise's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Lovelady, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-1.
