Football Recap: Longmont Takes a Loss

Longmont managed to keep up with Skyline until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Trojans came up short against the Falcons, falling 55-33. The Trojans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Longmont lost, don't look at Jacob Foot. Despite the final result, he rushed for 210 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.1 yards per carry.

Longmont's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Skyline, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-5 record this season.
