Football Recap: Shadyside Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Shadyside came into this matchup off a tough 38-point defeat last Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Shenandoah Zeps by a score of 20-18 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Zeps: they've now lost four in a row.

Jayden Johnson threw for 297 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Trenton Marling was his top target, picking up 28 receiving yards.

Shadyside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Shenandoah, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-3.

Coming up, Shadyside will be playing in front of their home fans against River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Shenandoah, they will head out on the road to take on Monroe Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Zeps' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
