Volleyball Recap: Dracut Middies vs. Lowell Red Raiders
After flying high against Academy of Notre Dame last Monday, Dracut came back down to earth. The Dracut Middies fell just short of the Lowell Red Raiders by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Middies of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

Dracut's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zoe Clarke, who had 14 digs, eight kills, two aces, and a block. The team also got some help courtesy of Julia Graham, who had five aces, a kill, and 28 assists.
Even though they lost, Dracut kept the net locked down and finished the game with 18 blocks. That's the most blocks they've posted since the start of last season.
Dracut dropped their record down to 5-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lowell, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10.
