Baseball Recap: Thomasville Comes Up Short

Thomasville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Southwestern Randolph Cougars, falling 20-1.

Thomasville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bryan Serrano-Rodriguez, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Thomasville's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Southwestern Randolph, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Thomasville and Southwestern Randolph will both be playing East Davidson the next time they take the field. The Cougars will head out to face the Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
