Fairfield Union is 9-1 against Circleville since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Fairfield Union Falcons are taking a road trip to challenge the Circleville Tigers at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Fairfield Union was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 60-54 to Hamilton Township. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Rangers are ranked 55th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Circleville duked it out withMiami Trace on Saturday. Circleville fell 51-43 to Miami Trace.

Circleville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Fairfield Union, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season.

Fairfield Union didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Circleville in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 53-47 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fairfield Union since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
