Softball Recap: Johnson Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Johnson's offense. They came up short against the Barbers Hill Eagles on Saturday, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Jaguars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Johnson's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Barbers Hill, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Johnson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-3 defeat against O'Connor on the 21st. As for Barbers Hill, they will take on West Brook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season.
