Gatlinburg-Pittman has gone a perfect 9-0 against Austin-East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Highlanders will square off against the Roadrunners at 5:30 p.m. Gatlinburg-Pittman has given up an average of 9.5 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Gatlinburg-Pittman came up short against Sevier County on Monday, falling 12-3. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gatlinburg-Pittman saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sadie Moore, who went 2-for-4 with two runs. Another was Ryleigh Mercogliano, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Meanwhile, Austin-East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 23-2 to Northview Academy.

Gatlinburg-Pittman's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Austin-East, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything went Gatlinburg-Pittman's way against Austin-East in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Gatlinburg-Pittman made off with a 17-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Highlanders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
