Football Game Preview: North Nodaway/West Nodaway vs. Northwest

After two weeks on the road, Northwest is heading back home. Their bye week comes to an end as they meet up with North Nodaway/West Nodaway at 7:00 PM on Friday. North Nodaway/West Nodaway will need to watch out since Northwest have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

After a big victory against Chilhowee/Leeton three weeks ago, Northwest came back down to earth. Northwest took a hard 44-60 fall against Orrick. The defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of senior Rylan Chamberlin, who caught passes for 144 yards and 3 touchdowns, and senior Connor Tichenor, who passed for 181 yards and 4 touchdowns. Chamberlin has been a consistent playmaker for Northwest as this was the 5th good game in a row from him.

Meanwhile, North Nodaway/West Nodaway were close but not close enough last Friday as they fell 40-42 to DeKalb.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
