Baseball Recap: Montgomery County Indians vs. Estill County Engineers

Montgomery County fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Estill County on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Engineers by a score of 7-6. The Indians were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Engineers earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Jordan Howard was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits.
