Basketball Recap: Danbury Comes Up Short

Danbury was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 86-55 loss at the hands of the Monroeville Eagles. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Danbury's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Monroeville, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Danbury and New Riegel will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Danbury has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Monroeville, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Crestview at 7:30 p.m. on December 27th.
