Baseball Recap: Cascade Drops Highest Score of Season Against Maquoketa Valley

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cascade). They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Maquoketa Valley Wildcats on Wednesday. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Cascade now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Maquoketa Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Cascade wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Monticello on the 12th. Maquoketa Valley has also already played their next game (against MFL MarMac), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
